Rare Vintage - 40% Cask: First fill Sherry casks. Colour: Golden amber. Nose: Bags of sherry - sweet sultanas interlaced with a whisper of smoke. A slight herbal note (light) - almost floral. A wonderful nose! Palate: Smoky, freshly ground coffee, lovely sweet sherry notes develop and explode in the corners of the mouth. A slight spicy note adds another dimension. A mix of sumptuous flavours. Finish: Fruit and smoky notes last for ages. Very morish! |

Palate: Layers of fruit - initially rum and raisin / sultanas, followed by a creamy smoothness - like raspberry yoghurt. A light smoky / peaty edge lingers. Finish: Very fruity with a dry smoky edge. |
