fresh herbal/grassy notes. Lemon curd and meringue are discovered in the
background.

effect. Malty toffee sweetness is present throughout with blackcurrants
and a fragrant citrus lemongrass tang.

Glen Moray - 12 year old - 40%
Cask:
6 to 10 years in bourbon,
finish in ex Chenin Blanc
casks.
Colour:
Mid-golden.
Nose:
At full strength, the aroma is sweet, fruity and floral, exceptionally
well-rounded and balanced in flavour, characteristic of this classic
Speyside single malt. The first impression is of Highland toffee and
candy floss with honeycomb and sweet malt notes. Herbal top notes are
discovered with heather and brambles.
Palate:
As befits a classic Speyside malt, the taste is smooth, warming and
rounded with a good firm body. Lots of sweet, soft malty flavours evolve
in the centre of the palate, surrounded by toffee and mouth watering
fruits (blackcurrants and dried apricots). Boiling sweets reach the roof
of the mouth before the emergence of liquorice, tea and nut oil.
Finish:
Toffee, blackcurrants and a hint of liquorice remains into the finish
which is medium in length. |
 |
Glen Moray - 16 year old - 40%
Cask:
6 to 10 years in bourbon,
finish in ex Chenin Blanc
casks.
Colour:
Deep gold.
Nose:
A rich and mature nose with a robust character. It is reminiscent of
dried fruit, perhaps figs and raisins, mixed with chocolate and spices (cloves
and boiling sweets). There is a hint of leather and linseed oil giving
an overall impression of warmth and depth of character.
Palate:
Sweet, full and exceptionally well-rounded, the taste is smooth with a
good firm body, meeting the expectations set from the rich, mature nose.

Glen Moray - 20 year old - %
Cask:

Nose:
Rich, deep and enticing with remarkable complexity. At full strength

rich dried fruits (dates and raisins) embedded in a marzipan and cake
mixture, reminiscent of Christmas cake. The dried fruits give way to a
sponge trifle soaked in sherry.

Incredibly mouthfilling and evolving, with a voluptuous creamy and
velvety mouthfeel.
Finish:
Long, rich and deep with chocolate, sultanas and a hint of
liquorice. |
 |
Glen Moray - 30 year old - 43%
Cask:
Colour:
Bright gold.
Nose:
Exceptional elegance and softness on the nose, this is a truly exquisite
example of finesse and refinement of malt flavours over time.
At full strength, the delicate aroma reveals a complex mix of scented
and sweet aromatics: ethereal and floral scents in a pot-pourri mix (with
geraniums, violets and roses) balanced by the softness of vanilla with
hints of bergamot and wild mint. In the background are the hallmark Glen
Moray scents with flowering currants and spices (ginger, cloves and
ground nutmeg).
Palate:
On first sip, the sensuous oiliness gently caresses the palate as the
flavours glide from front to back bringing elegant aromatics (lavendar,
heather, vanilla, eucalyptus and hints of tea tree oil). This sensuous
oiliness progresses to a melting softness, revealing a luscious sweet
middle, reminiscent of lemon sponge and cream with a good dose of
vanilla. Oak makes its presence known but never dominates, revealed as
gentle nut oils and spices. Long and elegant to the end, the finish has
an amazing finesse with gentle nut oils, hints of dates and figs and the
softness of vanilla cream.
Finish:
Long and elegant. |

with a trace of freshly sawn wood and just a hint of mint.
Palate:
Spicy, warming and richly sweet with the oiliness of glacé cherries
coating the palate initially, before the fruit discovered on the nose –
pears, pineapples, cherries and blueberries becomes apparent now topped
with a dusting of spiced cocoa powder. Sweet flavours of vanilla custard
and fudge wrapped in chocolate glide over the palate as hazelnuts,
pistachios and warming nutmeg and ginger spice lingers in the
background.
