Visitor centre April to September:
Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm.

In addition, July to September:
Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

Oktober to March:
Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Closed for two weeks during Christmas and New Year.
Last tour of distillery leaves approximately 90 minutes before the stated closing times.

Glenfarclas 105 - Cask Strength - no age statement - 60%

Deep peaty-gold.
Nose:
Complex, oaky, apples & pears and a tempting dark toffee sweetness.
Palate:
Dry and assertive, develops quickly to reveal a rich spiciness, combined with a hint of oak and sherried fruit.
Finish:
Amazingly smooth for the strength, wonderful warming with a lingering smokiness yet very rounded.

Glenfarclas - 10 year old - 40%

Vibrant, straw- gold.
Nose:
Tempting sherry-sweet malty tones combine with a glorious delicate smokiness, releasing subtle Christmas spices, honey, vanilla and pear drops upon warming the glass in your hand.
Palate:
Delicately light, with a mouth-watering combination of maltiness, smokiness and sherry sweetness.  Hints of dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves tempt the taste buds further.
Finish:
Long, smooth and spicy, with a delicious lingering smokiness.

Fresh and beautifully light, sherried fruit combined with a tempting spicy sweetness and a hint of sappy oak.
Palate:
Full – bodied with a delightful sherried fruit, oak and a hint of peat.
Finish:
Long and flavoursome, with a lingering spiciness.

Glenfarclas - 15 year old - 46%

Complex, sherried, deliciously peated, light butterscotch aromas, with a hint of dried fruit.
Palate:
Full bodied with a superb balance of sherried sweetness, malty tones and peaty flavours.
Finish:
Long lasting, gloriously sherried, sweet, gently smoky, and distinguished.

Complex, with distinctive butterscotch, sherried fruit and peat smoke aromas.
Palate:
Big, full-flavoured, with excellent balance, develops slowly, full of sherry sweet malty tones, and a touch peat smoke.
Finish:
Long lasting and smooth, with a hint of spice and sherry sweetness.

Nose:
Intense, full of aromas – sherried fruit, nutmeg, almonds, slight citrus notes, all held together with a Vanilla sweetness.
Palate:
Full bodied rich and rounded develops slowly into fruity, smoky and spicy flavours.
Finish:
Long-lasting, smooth and smokey with a chocolate feel at the back of your throat.

Glenfarclas - 25 year old - 43%

Nose:
Complex, yet refined, with tempting aromas of marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry and nuts. Some oaky tannins.
Palate:
Full – bodied and robust, the sherry and the oak fighting for your attention yet neither over powering.
Finish:
Intense, long lasting, dry smoky and malty.  A rich dark chocolate at the back of your mouth to complete the 25 Years Old flavour

With sherry, cognac, brandy, fruit, nuts, marzipan and even icing, this is an indulgent Christmas cake, in a Glass!
Finish:
A whisky you never want to end and it very nearly is eternal. The finish is exquisite with a real taste of burnt chocolate at the back of your mouth.

Glenfarclas 1974 - 43%
Only 2,732 bottles of this 25 year old Glenfarclas were made. Distilled on 7th November 1974, this was bottled on 26th July 2000.

Delicate oaky tones, combine with a malty sweetness.

Mouthwatering, with a delicious long lasting maltiness.

Oaky with a hint of lemon zest on the finish.

Glenfarclas 1968 - 43%
32 year old Glenfarclas bottling, of only 1246 bottles. This whisky was distilled on 17th January 1968, and bottled on 28th July 2000

A complex full-bodied Glenfarclas. The aromas are intense, with rich tones of honey, vanilla, liquorice, cinnamon, raisins, and a hint of peat smoke.

Glenfarclas 1954 - 43%
Official 46 year old distillery bottling, distilled on 16th June 1954 and bottle on 27th July 2000. Limited Edition of only 1,193 bottles.

Full-bodied. Oaky and smoky, with a hint of vanilla. Intense flavour development on the palate.
