Rare Old - 40% Cask: Refill Sherry Hogsheads. Colour: Bright amber. Nose: Mulled fruits with hints of cooking apples. Floral/heather aromas with a back drop of hessian and oak. Palate: Smoky initially with charred oak and dry spices. Fruity notes with roasted malt and dry grass flavours. Finish: Slightly dry - chocolate and hessian. |
