Glenugie 1968 -
Rare Old - 40% Cask: Refill Sherry Hogsheads. Colour: Orange gold. Nose: Sweet wood aromas - waxed oak, hints of charred oak. Rich fruits - apple skins and rhubarb. Treacle toffee aromas also present. Palate: Green, herbal flavours, hints of menthol and peppermint. Slight resinous edge. Finish: Slightly resinous with fruit notes. |

Rare Old - 43% Cask: Refill Sherry Hogsheads. Colour: Bright amber. Nose: Sweet, sherry notes combine with nutty and polished leather aromas. Some fruitiness (green apples) and a perfumed edge. Palate: Sweet, herbal flavours - hints of bracken and gorse. A peppery smokiness develops with a malty, cereal note. Finish: Spices with a sherried edge. |
