Linkwood -Flora & Fauna - 12 year old - 43%
Colour:

Nose:
Green apple, blossom, freshly-mown grass. Water adds lime leaf/lemon zest.
Palate:
Rounded yet delicate. Apples again, tingly spiciness. Fills and perfumes the mouth. Delicious.
Finish:
Soft. Apples. A bit dry.

Bottled in 1997.
Colour:
Bright gold.
Nose:
Turkish fruit, pistachio, cherries.
Palate:
Nutty and dried flowers.
Finish:
Floral and lemon.

Pale white wine.
Nose:
Pears. Soda bread. Fresh. Bracken.
Palate:
Juicy fruits. Pineapple and passion fruit. Delicious.
Finish:
Incredibly enjoyable for such a young whisky.

Nose:
Fruity (red berries) with malty notes and a sweet, vanilla edge.
Palate:
Spicy with charred oak and aniseed. Rich fruitiness - bruised apples and bananas.
Finish:
Long, spicy notes - drying.

Refill sherry butt.
Colour:
Orange gold.
Nose:
Sherry notes with ripe fruits. A hint of chocolate and toffee. Subtle hints of dry grass and heather blossom.
Palate:
Peppery and warming. Sherry and oak flavours - toasted. Some malty notes with a green (cooking) apples finish.
Finish:
A developing fruitiness.

Golden Brown.
Nose:
Rich sherry aroma with a distinct phenolic note, fruity notes present - bruised apples and ripe bananas. Some oak notes on the edge.
Palate:
Very smoky and spicy initially fruitiness begins with sherry notes and maraschino cherries. The sherrywood influence lingers.
Finish:
Sherry wood with a smoky edge.

Nose:
Floral with some ripe fruit aromas. Sweet, spicy notes - “Humbug” sweets.
Palate:
Spicy with sweet elements - creme brulee. Menthol and eucalyptus notes present.

Colour:
Gold.
Nose:
Pear drops, leafy (crushed beech leaves). Fresh with light vanilla, bees honey.
Palate:
Very fresh - crisp green apples, sweet orange, with light spice (aniseed) playing around.
Finish:
Relatively short, but sweet!

First Fill Sherry Hogsheads.
Colour:
Orange gold.
Nose:
Rich fruits - green apples and grapes with strong sherry aromas. Sweet, toffee notes with peaty, phenolic edge.
Palate:
Smoky with sweet phenolic notes. Cherry tobacco and rich fruit flavours.
Finish:
Sherried with rounding sweetness.

Linkwood 1975 - Rare Malts - 26 year old - 56,1%
Colour:
Pale gold.
Nose:
Peated, fresh and aromatic.
Palate:
Smoked sweetness, becomes more syrupy.
Finish:
Intense, sweet and spicy. Very long.
