DISTILLERY BOTTLINGS

Tomintoul - 10 year old - 40%
Colour:
Rich, amber, golden colour.
Nose:
Medium weight malty nose with some biscuity sweetness, hints of cinnamon and mixed spice. Quite soft and gentle.
Palate:
Round, soft, gentle and smooth. Malty with some biscuit sweetness. Medium weight. Elegant and fine.
Finish:
Long elegant finish.
Tomintoul - 16 year old - 40%
Colour:
Rich, amber, golden colour.
Nose:
Good malty nose, soft and gentle, but with subtle hints of smokiness.
Palate:
Round, soft, gentle, elegant with some sweetness and smokiness.
Finish:
Elegant, soft, gentle finish of excellent quality.

Tomintoul - 27 year old - 40%
Colour:
Deep amber colour.
Nose:
Rich, round nose of some complexity with hints of sweetness and oak tones.
Palate:
Round, rich gentle complex palate with some smokiness and sweetness.
Finish:
Long full excellent finish.

Youthful, malty, chocolate, wet turf.
Palate:
Soft creamy / oily mouthfeel, Sweet malt and peat.
Finish:
Cold haggis, bitumen, touch of thick cardboard.

Tomintoul 1975 - 30 year old - 48,5%
Cask No. 30. Limited to 323 bottles.

Bourbon.
Colour:
Mid gold with watery edge. Bright.
Nose:
Complex and delicate. Daffodils and light jasmine. Some peat.
Palate:
Mildly peated. Good weight.
Finish:
Smooth and full. Rare and very elegant!

INDEPENDENT BOTTLINGS FROM GORDON & MACPHAIL

Tomintoul 1967 - Rare Old 40%
Cask:
First Fill Sherry Butt.
Colour:
Rich, orange - brown.
Nose:
Sherry with red berry fruit notes. Some sweet, treacle toffee aromas and a rich, earthy peaty note.
Palate:
Sweet sherry with an initial pepperiness, fudge and soft fruit elements develop. A delicate smokiness.
Finish:
Lasting, sherry and a touch of peat smoke.
